People often ask us, “So, how did you come up with the name Team Red Dog?”
Here’s the story from Marleen, our founder and CEO: “I’d always been drawn to scrappy little Australian Cattle Dogs, so when the time was right, I brought home a red heeler puppy from a local animal shelter. He was my first “red dog,” and the beginning of a deep connection with the breed. Later, while visiting Monument Valley, Arizona, I met another cattle dog who also needed a home.
In the spirit of “what’s one more dog”, my journey with these unique canine companions who demonstrate qualities of loyalty, intelligence, determination (to face even the toughest cattle), and innate problem-solving skills was unleashed.
And so the company, Red Dog Interactive, and later, Team Red Dog, was named.”
